Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
What we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and who shares your home (dog, cat, or little one) when you create an account.
Plant photos: photos you choose to scan are sent to our plant-identification service so we can name the plant and rate its safety. Scanned results are saved to your account so you can review your history.
Payment information: payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
Usage information: basic technical details (like device type and pages visited) that help us keep the app working well.
How we use it
To identify your plants and show safety ratings for dogs, cats, and children.
To save your scan history so you can look back at plants you've checked.
To manage your membership and process payments.
To contact you about your account or important changes to the service.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We do not use your plant photos for advertising.
We do not share your information except with the services that run Gardenno (hosting, plant identification, and payments), and only as needed to provide the service.
Your choices
You can delete individual scans from your history at any time.
You can cancel your membership at any time from the upgrade page — you keep access until the end of the paid period.
You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.
Data security and retention
Your data is stored with industry-standard security. We keep your information while your account is active and delete it when you ask us to, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example, payment records).
Children
Gardenno is designed for parents and pet owners, not for children to use directly. We do not knowingly collect accounts from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date below and, for significant changes, notify members by email.
